The Fennimore City Government is administered by the mayor and City Council. Please contact any of the City Department Offices for more information about specific services. Public Works included all outside departments including Streets, Water, Sanitary and Electric services. We appreciate the work of the city Police Department and their continuing care for members of the community. The City and Township of Fennimore Comprehensive Plan
The City of Fennimore and Town of Fennimore went through a process to perform a minor update to their Comprehensive Plan in December 2016. The Future Land Use Map was updated to reflect a small parcel of land that was annexed into the City. The entire plan can be downloaded following this link:
The City and Township of Fennimore Comprehensive Plan Update 2017
The Land Use Map within the Fennimore Comprehensive Plan has been updated and is now open for 30 days of community review. The map is the only change to the plan (available to download separately below).
A copy of the Land Use Map and plan can be obtained for review from the City of Fennimore Clerk’s Office (860 Lincoln Ave. Fennimore, WI, 53809) or by clicking on the link below, beginning on Friday, July 28, 2017 for 30 days. Additionally, a public hearing will be held for the Fennimore Comprehensive Plan Update at the Fennimore City Hall (860 Lincoln Ave. Fennimore, WI, 53809) on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 6 PM.

City teams with UW-Platteville Students
The City of Fennimore partnered with UW-Platteville business students during the Fall of 2016. The students worked with City staff during the semester to find more efficient ways of doing internal and external business. The three topics that were selected dealt with internal communications, processing employee time, and staffing the swimming pool. At the end of the semester, each group gave a presentation to City personnel, council members and the Mayor. Their final reports are attached below.
