Well, the contest is finally over. But before we address that, I would like to thank the 215 of you who participated in this event for all your hard work and determination. Even though not all of you made it to the finale, you at least took the first step by signing up, and for that you should be proud. For some of you, the pounds came off rather easily, for others it remained a battle. At the least, I hope everyone got something out of this event. For some of you it was about inches, being able to fit into a certain pair of jeans, a dress, or even a bathing suit. For others it was about being able to slim down and live comfortably. Whatever your goal was, if you haven’t reached it, I hope you do shortly. The stories and thanks I have heard have been great. But, just remember, this isn’t done just because the contest is done. The challenge is to keep on the healthy road and maintain this new lifestyle. I will be checking back with everyone this fall, and of course, we’ll be running this event again next year, with a lot more to offer, not just weight loss. So keep checking back and see what is in store.

Weigh-In Rules
  1. Official Weigh-Ins to occur any time prior to and on the scheduled weigh-in date. It is on an honor system. There will be a log book at Fennimore Fitness to record your weights, only referenced by Contestant Number.
  2. Weigh-Ins can be done at SWTC, GRHC, BAHC, Prairie Fitness or at Fennimore Fitness. For those locations without a log book, please email those weigh-in results to me (steve@brechlerinsurance.com) with the location at which you weighed in.
  3. If you can not make the scheduled weigh-in, as you are out of town, but would like to have your weight recorded, you can do so by emailing steve@brechlerinsurance.com or calling me at 822-6111 with your contestant number and weight. You will be ineligible for prizes that week, but still eligible for prizes the next week. Remember this is on an honor system.
  4. If you do not weigh-in on the scheduled date, and no weight is recorded, then you will be ineligible for prizes the following week, as your previous weight will be unknown.
  5. Remember, you can weigh-in anytime prior to the scheduled Monday date, if your schedule doesn't allow for you to make it to any of the locations.
  6. All weights should be narrowed down to the 10th of a pound as in 187.8lbs.
  7. We will attempt to announce the winners of the competition on Monday night, June 1st by 9:00 p.m. at the Memorial Building and crown our winners.
  8. All contestant information is purely confidential. There is only one person that knows your weight. Everyone will be referenced by contestant number.
  9. Tiebreakers for weigh-in prizes will always be broken by total number of pounds lost that period.
  10. Remember, it's not about winning. It's about setting goals, reaching those goals, and living a healthier, happier life.
