The City of Fennimore (pop. 2,500) seeks to fill this full-time position. The City of Fennimore is constructing a new activated sludge treatment plant operation, expected to come on-line in June, 2018. The individual hired will work as part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater treatment plant and sanitary sewer collection system, with secondary responsibilities of helping the water department. Background in treatment operations, laboratory work, pump maintenance, lift station and collection systems is preferred. Computer skills are also desired. A CDL license is required for this position, or ability to obtain within one year. Holiday and weekend work are required. The City of Fennimore offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and Wisconsin Retirement Program. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum 2 years of experience in wastewater and/or SCADA. The regular pay rate for this position will depend on qualifications of the successful applicant, with a range from $19.57 (OIT) to $27.27.
